Jude Law’s “Skeleton Crew” and more stars from a galaxy far, far away
Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that Neel’s younger siblings are entertained by is the same one that Chewbacca’s family watches in the infamous Star Wars special (1978). Featured in the cast of the crazy cartoon AniMat: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022).
When I saw the first episode, I was so happy that it was about 40 minutes long
I think the series is great so far, but there is one problem that really annoys me: the running time. Then came episode two: if we include the flashback and the credits, it’s not even 25 minutes long. If I can watch 25 minutes of the series every week, I have to watch what happened in the week before last.
As for the actors: God, they’re kids
As soon as you can’t completely lose yourself in the universe, it’s over. Incredibly unsatisfying! I probably won’t watch the movie for a few months and will try to avoid spoilers so I can watch the whole thing next year.
It’s obvious they didn’t have years of acting training
Regardless, the characters are likeable, the music fits, and the action isn’t exactly kid-friendly. After watching two episodes, I can’t wait to see what happens next, but unfortunately I won’t find out until next year. One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the biggest TV and streaming releases of the month.
